A few answers to frequently asked questions for retreats leaders interested in using Abel Tasman Lodge.
What is the pricing?
We price retreats on approximately the following group sizes (we do offer some flexibility).
- small groups under 6 people
- 6 to 8 people
- 9 to 12 people
- 13 to 16 people
- 17 to 20 people.

What’s included?
- Twin or Double room configuration
- Exclusive use of KŌWHAI ROOM
- WiFi
- Daily cleaning of the room.
What other costs do I need to consider?
- Single room occupancy is extra
- Transport to and from the airport
- Transport to excursions
- Self-catering fee – covers cleaning and costs of using the kitchen.
What self-catering facilities do you offer?
- Large fully kitted-out kitchen
- Gas and electric hobs
- Oven
- Microwave
- Fridge/freezer
- Dishwasher.
What is the distance from the airport and main towns?
- About 50 minutes from Nelson airport
- 20 minutes from Motueka town
- 60 minutes from Nelson city.
